Blondie was formed in 1974 by Chris Stein and Deborah Harry. Clem Burke and Jimmy Destri joined in 1975 and they released their first album 'Blondie' in 1977. The band released 6 albums up to their breakup in 1982 due to Chris Stein's near fatel illness. He recovered and the band reformed in 1998 releasing a further 2 albums.
