About Retro Clobber

Retro Clobber are passionate about their t-shirts. Starting out in 2004 when they found it hard to buy t-shirts featuring their favourite films, tv shows and cartoons. They decided to start their own online store to help others find great retro t-shirts and bring back some fantastic memories.

Movies

We grew up watching films in the 80s, either pestering our parents for money to go and see the latest releases at the cinema, or watching them on video (VHS or Betamax), classics like Ghostbusters, The Goonies, Superman, Star Wars and Rocky.

Cartoons

But not just the films, what about the cartoons, the Transformers, or the Thundercats, Danger Mouse and the Amazing Spider-Man? Watching them just after school or on a Saturday or Sunday morning.

Television

We also remember some of the great action filled television shows, The A-Team, Magnum PI, Bagpuss and the Hoff in Knight Rider.

The Music

Out of all of these we cannot forget the music over the years, from The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Pink Floyd, Blondie, Metallica, AC/DC, The Sex Pistols, Depeche Mode, just so many types of music spanning decades of great sounds from classic bands that we grew up with from school discos to night clubs.

Gaming

No childhood would have been complete without the video games consoles, Nintendo, Atari and Sinclair and the games that went with them. Frogger, Space Invaders, Pac-Man, the Legend of Zelda and many more were played for hours on end and practiced until we got to the final stages of the game and completed all the possible levels.
